The Somerset County Business Partnership (SCBP) has announced that the 2020 “BizFest,” for Somerset County small businesses and residents will be held virtually on Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. This will be the SCBP’s first major virtual event in its history.

To continue the tradition of Somerset County’s largest business trade show and networking event, the “Virtual BizFest” will offer a full day of networking, educational, and webinar-based events.

Business owners, employees, and residents are invited to join the virtual “BizFest” to learn about products and services available from Somerset County Business Partnership members. Members will present a 30-minutes “virtual trade show booth” that may include a webinar, provide product or service overview, or offer a Q&A with attendees. Attendance is free with registration required at www.scbp.org/bizfest/.

8:00 A.M to 8:30 A.M. – Tips to Make You Smile While Working Remotely

Join Delta Dental and Uncle Larry for a fun and engaging session on best practices working from home and hosting Zoom meetings; importance of being positive and smiling; and how this is connected to one’s oral and overall health.

8:30 A.M to 9:00 A.M. – Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation in the World of COVID Using Smart Science to Close Cases & Create Business Opportunities

Real estate purchasers and developers; commercial and industrial real estate, legal,

lending and investment, insurance, engineering, and construction professionals will

hear about the various tools and ‘smart science’ that supports property transactions and

redevelopment projects.

9:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. – How to Cash in on Your New Hires

Ken Brice, President Fahad Al Tamimi and of EmployerIncentives.com, will show why the featured program is

1:00 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. – Cake Decorating Class by Candyland Crafts

important. Virtual cake decorating “classes” are fun, relieve stress and anxiety, and are great for connecting with your team.
